The natural beauty of Las Caletas was originally discovered by the famous film director John Huston, who made this his private home for many years. Accessible only by sea, Las Caletas is surrounded by a steep, jungle – clad mountain backdrop, making it a truly secluded tropical sanctuary. We travel aboard our comfortable catamarans along Vallarta’s coastline, a tranquil one-hour ride.

Upon arrival at Caletas, you choose between pure relaxation – easy to do in shaded hammocks strung between towering palms – or gentle exploration of the surrounding areas. We offer a guided nature walks of our jungle and unique orchid gardens, as well as kayaking and guided snorkeling tours.

For certified divers, or those who want to learn, Caletas has a complete dive facility with scuba diving instruction. Las Caletas is, pure and simply, a paradise hideaway and Mexico’s own Garden of Eden.
